Social Distancing: Online School Because of the Coronavirus and social distancing, it is no surprise that the government has switched to online schools. This change is a new educational experience for almost everybody, so I wanted to look at how different schools are educating their students or providing on-line instruction. Since my school is already associated with Khan Academy, we transitioned to online school more easily. Also, since this is a new experience for us all, I wanted to explore how different schools are adapting to the new change. Private: Nearly the same as a public school, a private school will most likely follow the same schedule, if not change it a bit. Since you go to a private school, you might have a different, mixed up schedule. For me, I have a schedule that has some classes, then some breaks, and then free time to work on my homework. Corona Time: Things you can do during social distancing Alright, so as most of you know, there is a pandemic going around the earth by the name of the “coronavirus”. Due to the virus and attempts to contain the spread, people have been practicing this strange new thing called “Social Distancing.” Now, this doesn’t sound like your average try to stay away from your weird friend. So what is it? Well, social distancing is where you stay at home, going for the occasional walk, to contain the spread of the virus. Social distancing may sound like a free ticket for “screen time”, but overall, this should not be the case. There are many challenges people are facing. These include not being to see your friends in person, not being able to travel, being forced to stay inside your house for longer periods of time. However, we can overcome these challenges.
